The Plan:

We are constantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will continue to follow industry and government guidance to deliver a safe festival to sculptors, attendees, and other participants, so check back soon for more information.

In the meantime, we have outlined below our current position at each alert level to help you plan accordingly. Any future updates will also be posted here.

LEVEL 1:  The festival will proceed as planned. Sculptors, participants, and attendees are asked to follow Ministry of Health advice and stay at home if they are feeling unwell. All attendees are encouraged to use their COVID-19 Tracer App to scan the COVID-19 QR posters at the entrance or at various sites around the festival.

LEVEL 2 - 4: The festival will be cancelled if the entire country and/or the Manawatu region is in level two or higher and we are not able to operate with crowds over 100 people.
