Exciting new memorial sculpture opportunity for 2021

We have a new addition to the festival this year and it is exciting news for sculptors. The Gill Absolon Memorial Sculpture will be a tribute to a a women who was the driving force behind a Timona Park restoration project. In conjunction with her family and the Manawatu District Council, a sculpture will be chosen on the day of the festival to be installed at Timona Park in Fielding. The sculptor will recieve $3000 net and the honour and exposure of having their work in a public space.
