Light Horse (POA)
Bridget Austin
My sculpture consists of a horse's head that has been hand sculpted with a polystyrene, chicken netting, no.8 wire, and fence staples interior with an outdoor concrete mix top coat which was then painted a light grey with concrete paint. The head is secured onto a welded galvanized pipe that is drilled into a thick/tall wooden retaining post that has been stained a charcoal grey. I chose a horse for my sculpture as that is where farming started out and they are still symbolic to this day.
163.50cm H x 91cm L x 43cm W
